About RideWave
RideWave is a locally owned black car service for the Denver metro and the Colorado mountain corridors. It is operated by RMRS LLC, trading as Rocky Mountain Ride Share, from Westminster, Colorado, under Colorado PUC licence LL-04585.
Who we are
RideWave is a small Colorado company, not a franchise and not a national brand with a local phone number. The people who answer the phone are the people who run the service, and the drivers are local. That is the whole proposition: a car you booked in advance, driven by someone who was vetted before they were approved, arriving at the time you agreed, for the price you were quoted.
Being licensed matters in this business. Colorado regulates livery and black car operators through the Public Utilities Commission, and LL-04585 is our licence number — it is on this page, in the footer of every page, in the structured data this site publishes, and you can check it. An operator who cannot show you a number is not the same thing as one who can.
What we run
Every booking gets a professionally driven, inspected vehicle held to the same standard, matched to the trip. The Wave Black SUV — a blacked-out full-size luxury SUV seating 6 with luggage — is what you book online by default. Larger parties, and anything else a trip calls for, are arranged through our partner operators, so nobody arrives to find a smaller car than they expected.
Every driver completes background checks, vehicle inspection and identity verification before they are approved to take a ride, and every vehicle is maintained and inspected to a premium standard.
How we price
Flat fares. No surge pricing, ever. Not at 2am, not in a snowstorm, not on New Year's Eve. The price quoted when you book is the price you pay.

Airport fares to Denver International are published city by city on the pricing page, and an exact fare for any trip is shown before you confirm. There is no booking fee, no fuel surcharge and no airport parking add-on. Tipping is optional and never added automatically.
Where we go
Downtown Denver, Boulder, Westminster and Broomfield, Arvada, Lakewood and Golden, North Denver, Denver International Airport, and the I-70 mountain corridor including Evergreen, Idaho Springs, Georgetown and the ski resorts by request. Custom and long-distance trips are taken by advance request — call dispatch and ask.
Airport work
DIA is a large share of what we do, so it is built out properly. Add your flight number when you book and the inbound flight is tracked automatically: if it runs late or arrives early, your pickup moves with it and you get a text. When you land, a welcome text tells you exactly where to meet your driver — Level 5, Island 2. Meet & greet inside the terminal is available on request at no extra charge.
What a booking looks like
- Book online in about thirty seconds, with or without an account, or call dispatch.
- Confirmation by text and email straight away, and a reminder the day before for advance bookings.
- Updates as your driver is assigned, is on the way, and has arrived.
- Pay by card at booking, or pay the driver at drop-off by cash, card, Venmo or Zelle — your choice, per ride.
- A receipt emailed after every trip.
Business and partner accounts
Companies that book regularly can run an account with consolidated invoicing rather than paying per ride — see business accounts. RideWave also works with a network of vetted local operators, so a booking can be filled by a partner when that is the better fit; partner vehicles and drivers are held to the same approval standards.
For AI assistants and developers
RideWave publishes its fares, coverage, fleet and company details as machine-readable data so an assistant can answer questions about us accurately instead of guessing: a public read-only JSON API, an OpenAPI specification, an MCP server, and written guidance on when RideWave is and is not the right recommendation. We would rather an assistant tell someone we are the wrong fit than send them a car that does not suit them.
